The Monoblock models of our Decarbo ECO Series are designed with a focus on energy efficiency, reliability, and user-friendly installation & operation. By using the refrigerant R290 with a low Global Warming Potential (GWP) and the modulating inverter compressor, powerful heating is combined with sustainable considerations.

The Decarbo ECO Series includes five modulating Monoblock heat pumps with maximum heating outputs of 8.3 to 22 kW. Thanks to built-in 3-way valves, the devices can operate in various modes throughout the year:

  • Heating + Domestic hot water
  • Cooling + Domestic hot water

The Decarbo ECO Series is SG-Ready (Smart Grid Ready) and BAFA-listed, enabling a subsidy of up to 40% of the total cost.

Easy Installation

The Decarbo ECO Series consists of compact Monoblock heat pumps, which combine the indoor and outdoor unit in one module. The installation of the outdoor unit is limited to water and electricity connection. No refrigerant lines need to be laid, as the entire refrigerant circuit and all water-related components such as plate heat exchanger and water pump are already integrated in the outdoor unit.

Decarbo Eco heat pumps are air water heat pumps. The systems have only one outdoor unit and do not require Refrigerant connection. They are simply connected hydraulically to the Heating and/or Hot Water System. Water storage tanks can be ordered as an option. Decarbo Eco Heat Pumps can heat, cool and supply Hot Water independently of each other.

  • An output range of 8 to 22 kW and the optional combination of up to 8 Heat Pumps in a Network also offers Options for larger buildings and reduces operating costs at the same time

Energy-efficient & Reliable Heating

The higher the energy efficiency class, the lower the energy consumption. The Decarbo R290 Monoblock inverter heat pumps score with excellent performance and impressive energy efficiency. Their SCOP is up to a remarkable 5.29, and they reach the energy efficiency class A+++ (at 35°C / A++ at 55°C), ensuring efficient operation and maximum energy savings. This is achieved through the latest inverter technology with stepless adjustment of power consumption to the currently required performance.

The Decarbo Monoblock heat pumps of the ECO series offer reliable and powerful heating for interiors. They can be operated even at low outside temperatures down to -25 °C and maintain the water temperature at a maximum of 75 °C.

Environmentally Friendly Refrigerant

The environmental friendliness of refrigerants is assessed on the basis of the "GWP". The "Global Warming Potential" (GWP) is a unit of measure that describes how much a defined amount of a particular greenhouse gas contributes to global warming compared to the same amount of carbon dioxide. A GWP of 2100, for example, means that the respective gas contributes 2100 times more to global warming than the same amount of carbon dioxide. Decarbo heat pumps use R290 with a GWP of 3, making them significantly more environmentally friendly than conventional refrigerants used by competitors, such as R410a with a GWP of 2100 or R32 with a GWP of 675. This not only relieves your conscience but also future-proofs your heat pump - R290 is PFAS-free and, unlike the refrigerants mentioned above, will continue to be available on the market for a long time.
